We’re a Local, Skilled Window Company
Your old windows might be more than an eyesore. In fact, they could be negatively affecting overall energy efficiency. As your home ages, so do your windows. Frames will start to deteriorate because of expansion and contraction, allowing drafts that make you hotter in summer and colder in winter.
Don’t let poorly performing windows negatively affect your indoor comfort. BFARR Contracting, LLC, can replace your current units with more energy-efficient windows, reducing overall energy usage and bills.
Types of Windows
BFARR Contracting is proud to offer a full line of energy-efficient windows. These vinyl replacement windows are designed to be aesthetically pleasing and easy to maintain for years to come. We can install any of the following windows in your home:
- Single Pane versus Double Pane - double pane windows are often filled with argon gas for premium insulation properties. Single-pane windows are surrounded by interior and exterior air, unlike double-pane windows filled with argon gas - vinyl versus aluminum framed- vinyl is a strong material and non-conductive to heat while also being non-corrosive to the elements. Aluminum can corrode and also conducts heat.
- Impact versus Non-Impact - impact windows have a laminated glass that provides protection from debris during a major storm and also adds a layer of security against intruders. Non-impact windows provide little protection from debris and also is easily broken.
- Double Hung versus Single Hung - double hung allows the outside of the windows to be accessed from inside the home and is very popular for two-story homes to keep the outside of the glass clean without having to access a ladder on the exterior.
